Dear Wyatt,

You are six years-old. You are the most generous boy I have ever seen. You are so happy to give to those around you and you want those around you to be happy. You will give even if it means sacrificing some thing for yourself. When you have a treat or candy from school or a birthday party, you always divi up the treat between you and your sisters. If there is any extra you are more likely to give it to your sisters than keep it for yourself. I love that.

You love babies! I first noticed this about three years ago when Uncle David, Aunt Angela, Evan and baby Andrew came out to California to visit us. You LOVED baby Andrew. He was about four months old at the time. Aunt Angela and I were sitting in my room on my bed and she was helping me fold laundry. She had put baby Andrew down on the floor to play while we worked. You came in and lay down next to Andrew. You scooted yourself down so your face was at his little baby feet. You just lay there and let the baby's feet bonk you in the face. You thought it was hilarious and you loved checking out Andrew's little baby feet.

Now we have our own baby. She is almost three months old and you LOVE her. You try to do anything to get a smile out of her. Yesterday, I left you home with Adell while I ran Lorien to brownies. You took great care of her and when she started crying, you even checked to see if she needed a new diaper (she did not.). You also love Adell's tiny feet and hands.

For Christmas you drew Adell's name to give a present to. When we went shopping you picked out a toy for Adell, then you found a stuffed doggie you thought she would like too. Buying the toy and the dog was out of your budget for the Christmas present. You wanted to give Adell the doggie so much you said you would pay for the extra cost out of your own money! That is just one of the many examples of your generosity. It made you happy to give some thing extra to Adell and it made Daddy and I so happy to see you so selfless.

I love you Wyatt. You are an amazing boy.

Love,

Momma
